50 Examples of Government Waste | The Foundry: Conservative Policy News.

Every year on tax day (April 15th for those who don't pay taxes) I post to Facebook and MySpace a "feel the rage".

Every year I also have liberal friends reply with the obvious lunacy of "Gee Neal, don't you want highways,parks, library's, schools, and police and fire protection?"

Well of course I do, but what our government takes from us and how it applies the confiscation of our property is criminal.

I do this exercise every year to promote awareness and get people thinking.

If each individual in America were to sit down and start adding up everywhere they pay taxes and truly start asking themselves "am I getting my money's worth?" I am certain the answer would be rather obvious.

In fact if private companies were to operate in such a fashion their executives would be put in jail and they would be run out of business.
