Liberalism Works Right?!

California noted as one of the most "progressive" states in the Union says it could be broke in two months. Now how progressive is that?!

Socialism is simply not a sustainable economic model. Government "taking" from others and redistributing wealth has never worked on a large scale and never will.

Amazingly the number of states petitioning the Federal Government for bail outs are predominately and historically Democrat controlled.

I'm glad we have a Democratic majority now running the national government.

By the way, who's going to bail out the Federal government with all the debt we are incurring bailing out everyone and their grandmother?

Bail This Out

Always nice to see how "compassionate" liberal policies of mandating lending policies that force financial institutions into lending money to high risk applicants is a good idea. The downstream effects of Fannie and Freddie spread throughout the financial world which in turn destroyed all liquidity of credit.

Until the bitter end Chris Dodd and Barney Frank said there was "nothing wrong". And hey.. maybe nothing was wrong if their plan was to use bad policies to create a situation whereby the Federal Government has to step in and take over the financial system.

Gee I wonder if the same principle applies to health care?
Snow in Houston and now Vegas? Still believe in Global Warming?

Liberal Intentions & The Liberal Playbook

I have many liberal friends and they are some of the most well intended compassionate people I know. They often confuse Conservatism with being heartless, callous and indifferent to those less fortunate.

That is simply not true... their play book is replete historical failure.

Evil CEO's

I'm amazed that folks on the left demonize the money paid corporate CEO's who's job responsibilities include the production of goods and services consumed by the public.

These CEO's are also responsible for oversight of their employee's jobs & livelihood which in turn provides for families, homes and also fuels the economy by products consumed. One of the reasons they are so well compensated is work opportunities post being CEO are hard to come by.

Yet time and time again I hear the media & politicians demonize CEO's for how exorbitantly they are paid too much.

However, I never ever ever hear about how people who put on make up and costumes and play a sophisticated version of "make believe" while being filmed for our entertainment purposes are paid too much.

Just an audacious observation.
